off- construction
___fall/winter ´19

The project revolves around the philosoplical concept born in the TWENTIETH century known as "deconstruction". This movement has its origin in French Algeria, considering the thinker Martin Heidegger as the first to use and analyze the term.
Far from considering decostruction as a pure philosophy, authors like the aforementioned Heidegger or the famous Derrida, they consider it a strategy that investigates the possibilities and part of the conceptual systems of philosophy.
As a reference and visual example, deconstrucion has been deconstructed in the architectural field, taking as example more clear buildings like the Guggenheim of Bilbao and other similar works of the architect Frank Gehry.
Another goal of this design was to reinterpret the classic female jacket, so it has also been inspired by Asian clothing and in such iconic garments as the Safari jacket. The idea was to merge both at the same time.
The design, therefore, is a reinvented feminine dress suit, seen from another more avant-garde angle, in which they have fused a typical Kimono and Safari jacket, and has elements (such as uneven belt and pockets) which refer to the Deconstructivist movement.
